MQ6 LPG ISO-Butane and Propane Gas Sensor

Description:

• The MQ6 sensor lies in its semiconductor sensing component, which responds to the presence of LPG, ISO-Butane and Propane molecules in the air. 
• As these gasses interact with the sensor, changes in its electrical conductivity occur.
• The sensor converts these changes into analog signal, for detection of LPG, ISO-Butane and Propane concentrations.
• Connecting the sensor to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) on a microcontroller enables users to obtain digital readings of methane and LPG concentrations.
• There is a potentiometer on the sensor which allows users to adjust the sensitivity based on specific requirements.
